Get ready for a hands-on adventure as Woolaroc’s popular animal barn reopens for the fall season! Originally built as a dairy barn for Frank Phillips, our founder, this cozy corner of the ranch has transformed over the years into a lively, ever-changing home for some of Woolaroc’s most charming residents.
A Fun and Interactive Animal Experience
From rabbits and chickens to goats, donkeys, and more, the animal barn offers a close-up look at life on the ranch. It’s perfect for kids and adults alike! And because the animals rotate throughout the year, no two visits are ever the same. One weekend you might meet fluffy chicks and curious calves; the next, a brand-new group of barnyard friends might be waiting to greet you.
This year, visitors can also explore our new incubation center, where eggs hatch right before your eyes. Alongside it, you’ll find an engaging display featuring photos from the ranch, plus horns and antler sheds that you can see and touch up close. It’s a great way to learn about Woolaroc’s wildlife and ranching heritage in a fun, approachable setting.
Seasonal Hours – Plan Your Visit
The indoor animal barn is open this fall weekends only from September 6 through December 21, 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning for another look, fall is the perfect time to stop in.
And don’t forget: the outdoor pens featuring our miniature ponies, goats, and rheas are open year-round, offering another great way to enjoy Woolaroc’s animal encounters no matter the season.
Included with Regular Admission
As always, access to the animal barn is included with general Woolaroc admission. Families, school groups, and animal lovers of all kinds are invited to come explore, interact, and learn. Whether you’re petting a friendly goat or watching a baby chick emerge from its shell, the animal barn is full of unforgettable moments. So gather your crew, charge your phone for photos, and come see what’s new this fall at Woolaroc!
